Former IUB physics graduate student, Andrew Jackura (PhD 2019, Prof. Szczepaniak , advisor) currently a postdoctoral researcher at Old Dominion University, received the 2021 Jefferson Science Associates (JSA) Postdoctoral Prize for his research on the Three-Body Nuclear Phenomena in QCD. The competition is run by the Jefferson Lab Users Organization Board of Directors. The Prize is a grant for a research project of the candidate's choosing. The award is based on the originality and quality of the proposed research. Congratulations Andrew.
