IUB physics graduate student Krystyna Lopez has won a GEM fellowship from the National GEM Consortium. GEM provides graduate fellowships at the MS and PhD levels coupled with paid summer internships. Krystyna will be doing her internship this summer in the Physics Division at Argonne National Lab. This internship project will complement Krystyna’s PhD thesis work on a search for exotic spin-dependent interactions of the neutron using slow neutron polarimetry.
