Abstract: Recently, there has been discussion of the “tension” in the NOνA and T2K long-baseline neutrino oscillation results and the possibility that certain types of nonstandard interactions (NSI) could help resolve it.  Separately, the apparent deviation of SNO’s results from the standard prediction for the solar neutrino survival spectrum is another scenario for which NSI has been suggested as a possible explanation.  We investigate whether a specific type of NSI is capable resolving both discrepancies simultaneously and find that this would have implications for the new CP-violating phase associated with the NSI.
