The Physics Department would like to welcome you to our annual “Introductory Tea.” We use this event to introduce everyone who joined the department this semester, which includes staff, faculty, and new graduate students. We also take the time to recognize staff and faculty who have reached certain milestones in their years of service to the department. Additionally, one distinguished staff member within the department will be recognized for their dedication and outstanding service via our departmental Staff Merit Award. In addition to our typical afternoon tea, we will be serving cake!
The Afternoon Tea and cake will take place in the tea room (SW 130) Wednesday, August 31st, 2022 at 3:30 pm.
The Introductions and Award ceremony will take place shortly after tea, at 4:05 pm, in SW 119. Dr. Baxter, Department Chair, will give a State of the Department address after the awards.
