Interference and stability of optical knot invariants in the presence of turbulence
I will start by briefly reviewing Kolmogorov’s statistical scaling theory of turbulence in classical fluids. Next, I will describe, in general, the formation Optical Angular Momentum (OAM) optical knots, their interference and stability in terms of their topological invariants. Preliminary experimental results on the stability of Trefoil, Cinquefoil and Hopf optical knots will be discussed.
