Jean and I have been married since 12 September 1959. We have four children, one grandson and one granddaughter.

Jean has academic degrees in Geology, Library Science, and Computer Science. For more than a decade she worked as a systems programmer at Indiana University. Her other interests include cooking, and cats.

My wife's family includes a sister and nephew living in Manitoba.

My wife's father was Ronald Moffatt Virtue. Although born in Australia, he was of Scottish extraction, yet lived most of his life in Canada. He was a soldier in the first world war.
