A few thoughts from Prof. Pollock...
Future Plans ?
"to make God laugh, tell him your plans"
(from "A Weekend in the Country", film, 1995)
The pursuit of physical understanding of our universe is a noble undertaking. It is unlikely to lead to fame or fortune - its rewards lie inwards, as in the fleeting moments of satisfaction when one glimpses a new insight into the workings of nature, and shares this with colleagues and students.
Having been privileged to play a small role in this quest over nearly four decades, I can imagine no better future than to continue this work.
