C9-1 Specific heat apparatus.
Purpose: To demonstrate specific heat.
Description: Cylinders of different metals such as copper, aluminum and iron are put into boiling water so they are at the same temperaure. Put them on a paraffin block and they melt different distances into the paraffin block.

Equipment: Specific heat apparatus, beaker and heat source such as Bunsen burner.
